This simulation was developed in regard to the add-on “Mechanics” product created for a respirator. Designing the layout and features of the module before the engineering effort began, resulted in significantly shortening the design time and reducing the number of prototypes and changes often necessary in complex software routines.

Download this simulation to view the working model. Remember that the focus of this simulation was for the Mechanics add-on only. Therefore, only part of the instrument is simulated. Despite the partial working model, some of the functions may not be entirely clear because of the need for a respiratory mechanics background. However, the value of such a tool is clearly evident.
