This is a great example of the power of the simulation. This simulation has settings for various options for both timing and sound. This allow us to meet over the internet and run the simulation and change the setting in real-time and come to conclusions if something took too long or did not sound pleasing. This model enabled us to nail down the user interface in record time and reduced the number of change orders.

It was not a replacement for the software specification, but it accelerated the review time immensely. It was just a matter of verifying that the specification matched the simulation. Our customer was able to see what they were going to get from early on in the project.
